Chameleon Clock – Meets Your Time and Date Needs
Review by on
Let’s start on a positive note with the things you are going to like about the Softshape-developed application Chameleon Clock. The first thing you are going to like is that getting the application off the web and onto your computer will only take a moment. The download weighs in at 3.5MB, which isn’t very much. Personally I like it a lot when a download doesn’t take forever to complete.

The next thing you are going to like is that installing Chameleon Clock, just like downloading it, completes in very little time. Just launch the executable you downloaded, follow the instructions presented by the setup wizard, and you will be done before you know it.

Next up you are going to like that the first time Chameleon Clock runs you are presented with a wizard that lets you choose if you want Chameleon Clock to replace the tray clock or be displayed as a floating clock and displays a few tips about using Chameleon Clock .

The list of things you are going to like about Chameleon Clock continues with the following:
- You can easily hide Chameleon Clock with a mouse click.
- You can choose if you want Chameleon Clock to automatically run at startup.
- You can customize the way Chameleon Clock looks with skins.
- Periods Watch feature watches over your wife’s or girlfriend’s period.
- You can enable Wallpaper clock and stylish graphical skins will be used to display the current time.
- A calendar is included.
- Set up reminders and alarms.
- Talking clock.

There’s one little thing you are not going to like about Chameleon Clock – that it is only free to try. You can use Chameleon Clock free of charge but only for a trial period of 30 days. During this time you will constantly be presented with a registration reminder.

If you want to replace the Windows system tray clock, or if you want a floating clock that lets you set up reminders and alarms, you need to give Chameleon Clock a try. It is an application that can meet your time and date needs.

Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Skins
  • Alarms, reminders
  • Wallpaper clock

Cons
  • Free to try (30-day trial)
